The Craft
For centuries, artisans in Rajasthan have practiced the art of hand block printing using hand-carved wooden blocks and natural or pigment-based dyes. Each color requires its own carved block, carefully aligned and pressed onto fabric layer by layer. The result is a textile that carries the character of the maker in every impression.
